The Healer series has been enjoyable throughout and this final instalment is no exception. The adventures and trials of Avry and Kerrick continue unabated, moving at a good pace towards a thrilling conclusion.
Taste of Darkness brings the series to a satisfying close with excellent plot and character development. It is a fun read that will most certainly appeal to YA Fantasy fans, offering engaging protagonists, epic adventure and the spark needed to distinguish a great story from the wealth of others out there: highly recommended series.
