If you had a time machine (i.e. a TARDIS), where would you go?
I would go to the 1794 Paris. I would warn Robespierre to deal with Tallien before it's too late!
I love the French Revolution: it's a fascinating period. And I've always had a soft spot for Robespierre who (evidence agrees) wasn't anywhere near as 'black' as some books/documentaries claim.
I would have commented in a different way but upon knowing that you're an author, I've changed my mind. lol
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that you'd rather take part in history with a particular historic person than other things. It makes me think that my mindset is too young and that you have a happy married life. Why I think like this, here's my ff.
New GFC and twitter follower. :)
I've always thought of Robespierre as quite a terrifying man, but history is always written by the victors so I guess his portrait is quite subjective! French revolution is a great time! I'm a new GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

That's a very specific answer (the first one I've seen, actually)! You must really know what you want! New Twitter follower :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my F&F!
Your answer's so specific! I'm not familiar with Robespierre, but you just made me curious as to who he was, haha! :)

That's an interesting time choice. I didn't really think about actually going back to change anything. Thanks for sharing! I followed via Twitter and GFC.
