Rainbow Snippet: 27 August 2016 - From 'Lick'

Saturday's here again! Time for more Rainbow Snippets.

Today I thought I'd share something from my latest release: an MM contemporary short story called Lick, which released from Torquere Press on 24 August, both as a single eBook title and as part of their Beach Rental anthology.

In this scene, Jay's encounter with a sexy ice cream seller leaves him tongue-tied. Luckily Aland knows just what he needs....

“Let’s see.” The man drummed slender fingers with perfectly manicured nails against the countertop, and Jay hid his own bitten and broken ones behind his back. “I don’t think you’re ready to suck on anything yet. Bit early in the day, eh? You seem the traditional type. Vanilla, yes? How about a good old ninety-nine?”

  1. That interplay works on so many different levels, depending on where your mind is ;) Love it.

  2. Oh, man. This is delightful. I love all the double meanings.

  3. Love the double entendres!
