Billy’s life changes in a single day when he meets Daniel, who becomes the love of his life.
Billy’s aging client Chuck has a dark and sad secret to reveal. As Billy and Daniel fight to help Chuck reunite with the love of his past, their own fledgling relationship is threatened.
Who will remain the heroes in love?

Heroes in Love was a sweet, slow-burn contemporary romance. The storyline worked well, and although the pacing was slow, that seemed to suit this tale, which is more thoughtful meander than action-packed adventure. I liked Billy and Daniel as characters; however, I did find their personalities a little too similar at times and would have liked to have seen one of them take the initiative a bit more. Chuck is probably the character who came across the best; I really enjoyed his cantankerous dialogue. Overall, this was a sweet, easy read--a little melancholic at times, but with a hopeful (if not fully HEA) conclusion. Recommended for LGBT contemporary fiction fans who like stories that have a few more sombre moments and aren't all unicorns and kittens.

I received a eBook copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
