The Silent Sea was an enjoyable sci-fi thriller, and at just eight episodes it's only half the length of most K-dramas. The performances from the cast were all good. The plot was interesting and had some original elements; although, it 'borrowed' from other works like the Alien series here and there. My only real niggle was the idiocy of some of the characters at times, but I guess if they had acted sensibly, no problems would have arisen and then there would have been no story! The ending was conclusive enough to be satisfying, yet open enough for you to make up your own mind what would happen next. If you enjoy sci-fi thrillers, it's worth taking a look.
