Cursed since birth and exempt from death, a revenge-driven immortal sets out on a quest to reclaim his soul and end a 600-year-old vendetta. (Netflix Synopsis)

Bulgasal was an enjoyable fantasy-thriller. It had a bit of a slow start, but soon picked up, and the cast all gave good performances, even if I didn't feel a lot of chemistry between the leads. I liked the special effects and particularly enjoyed the flashback scenes to the past, and the cinematography was great throughout. They also managed to save some of the revelations for the final episode, which kept you guessing right until the end. There were a few slight plot holes here and there, but I was able to let them go. Overall, there's plenty here to please fantasy fans, and it gets four stars from me.
