The Lies Within was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it either. It took until the end of episode four for me to really get into it, as the action picked up at that point and a few new interesting subplots were revealed. Overall, though, I was never majorly invested in the characters. At first I thought I would be disappointed in the ending, but a final twist saved me from being too upset. If you like slow-burn thrillers, you'll probably find something to enjoy here, but it's not one of my top Kdramas and not one I'd rush to watch a second time or buy on DVD. It gets three stars from me.
