Ji-hoon is a talented and aspiring music artist with a serious case of glossophobia, aka stage fright. However, life starts to change as he develops after meeting genius producer Min-soo. (Synopsis)
The Box was a quiet yet thoughtful film. Its plot was pretty predictable and a little meandering at times, but this is a film you watch for the characters and the performances, and the lead actors were both excellent. It was sweet and heartfelt and will appeal to music fans through the frequent vocal performances. It's perhaps not a movie you'd rush to watch again and again, but it's definitely worth at least one view for fans of slow-paced, gentle dramas. It gets four stars from me.
