Romance is a Bonus Book was an endearing and thoughtful romantic drama that touched on some deeper themes amid the mostly lighthearted fun. I loved all the bookish metaphors and the way the story highlighted the effort, time and money that goes into creating a book. The characters were interesting and well rounded, and the performances by the cast excellent. If you like your romance with a dose of drama rather than comedy, this is definitely a series worth watching, and I am giving it 4.5 stars.
