Life turns on a dime for a thriving prosecutor after meeting his new perky intern, who becomes a prime murder suspect soon after joining his office. (Synopsis)

Suspicious Partner was a fun drama overall, with a good blend of romance, comedy and action. Ji Chang-wook was a delight as always, and I liked the chemistry between him and Nam Ji-hyun. The story started off strongly but stalled a little for a handful of episodes around the midway to three-quarters point. However, things picked up again for the final four episodes. I think maybe some tighter editing and a run of sixteen or eighteen episodes, instead of twenty, would have solved the problem. But it's a minor complaint as the show was good in all other respects. I am giving it 4.5 stars.
