Yong Pal was a show that both pleased me and annoyed me at different times. On the plus side, I liked the opening of the story with Yong-pal living a double life and then uncovering a conspiracy at the hospital. There were some good action scenes and that side of things held my interest well. However, I struggled a bit with the romance. It was rather insta-love and I couldn't understand what Yong-pal saw in her, as I found her a tedious spoilt brat throughout. That made it hard for me to get behind all the risks he kept taking trying to save her. So, overall I am giving this show four stars. There were elements I liked and others I didn't. It was entertaining enough, but not a series I would ever bother watching a second time.
