The Glory was an intense revenge thriller. Originally it looked like it was only eight episodes. The opening was slow, but then things picked up. By the end of the seventh episode I wondered how they could possible conclude everything in only a single remaining hour. The answer was they couldn't, and we had to wait two months for the release of the eight-episode second part. That conclusion was worth the wait. The piece was impeccably acted and nicely paced (after the slower intro) and the finale felt satisfying after all that had happened. There are plenty of dark themes here: school bullying, suicide, murder etc. so it won't be for everyone, but if you enjoy emotionally black drama, The Glory is definitely worth watching. It gets 5 stars from me.
