With new evidence about his wife's recent death, a hardened soldier is joined by an unlikely trio to uncover the truth behind the tragedy. (Synopsis)

Riders of Justice is the fifth Anders Thomas Jensen black comedy in which Mads Mikkelsen has starred. Compared to some of the others, I found this film a little more on the serious side, though still containing plenty of darkly humourous moments. It held my attention from start to finish and the action moved at a good pace. However, I would have liked a little more explanation at the end for how they reached the final scene after what had gone before. I am giving this movie four stars. It's definitely enjoyable, but for me it didn't have the magic of the earlier The Green Butchers or Adam's Apples, both of which are films I can watch again and again and enjoy every time.
