This is a drawing based on an image from the 1934 film Death Takes a Holiday starring Frederic March and Evelyn Venable.
Drawn over approx. 11 hours (her dress nearly killed me) using pencils H, F, 2B, 3B, 5B & 7B.
This is a photograph of the finished drawing. I have fixed the levels and whitened the background (which had become murky in the photo) in GIMP; otherwise, the image is as drawn.
