Two ink sketches of Jeon Dong-seok in the musical Phantom (Yeston) based on promotional images.
I am still fairly new to using ink (instead of graphite pencils) and I am still finding my feet when it comes to shading. In both these images I feel I went in too heavy on the shading of the faces (especially the first one on the left), but I was mostly pleased with the hair in both and with the clothing on the first one. I'll keep playing around and will hopefully improve.
Each of these was drawn over approx. 2.5 hours with Staedtler Pigment Liners 0.05, 0.1, 0.3 & 0.5. This is a scan of the finished artworks.
