Aoi Koga, Gakuto Kajiwara
At a high school full of unique characters, Tadano helps his shy and unsociable classmate Komi reach her goal of making friends with 100 people. (Netflix Synopsis)
I had previously read volume one of the manga Komi Can't Communicate, so I was interested to see the anime version. This is a really sweet story of a girl who all the class worship as a goddess, interpreting her silence as superiority, whereas she is actually incredibly shy and just wants to make friends. In the end, she is helped by her classmate Tadano, and over the course of the episodes, she gradually expands her circle and is able to get to know people. The animation is good, as is the voice acting, and all up this is a fun contemporary anime series. It gets a solid four stars from me.
