TV Review: All of Us Are Dead (Horror-Thriller)

All of Us Are Dead (지금 우리 학교는)
12 episodes
Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon

A high school becomes ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected. (Netflix Synopsis)

In the past, I've never really liked zombie film/series, with the exception of Warm Bodies and Shaun of the Dead. However, over the last couple of years, I've come to enjoy the Korean-produced zombie films and TV series, and All of Us Are Dead was a pleasing addition to that collection. There were a handful of slower moments, but on the whole the pacing of this series was good. All the tropes were covered, but there were sufficient original ideas to hold my interest, and it was exciting without being too scary. The young cast all performed well and the production values were high. If you enjoy zombie shows, definitely have a watch. It gets a solid 4 stars from me.
