In his quest for a bride to break his immortal curse, Dokkaebi, a 939-year-old guardian of souls, meets a grim reaper and a sprightly student with a tragic past. (IMDB Synopsis)

I have been wanting to watch Goblin for a couple of years, but it wasn't available on Netflix, so in the end I bought myself the DVD last month. It turns out to have been a worthwhile investment because I loved this series. The plot was interesting, as were the characters, and the cast had great chemistry together and gave excellent performances. I enjoyed the cinematography too; there were so many beautiful and perfectly constructed shots. The main romance story lines were great, but I also adored the relationship between the goblin and the reaper. Once again there was the spot-on balance of drama/emotion and humour that I love so much in Korean series, so I was laughing in one scene and sobbing in the next. This series definitely makes it onto my Top Ten K-drama list and it gets 5 stars from me.
