Seo In-guk, Oh Yeon-seo
A suspicious business that offers the services of a purportedly all-knowing shaman catches the attention of a tenacious police inspector. (Synopsis)
Cafe Minamdang started a little slowly and I wasn't sure what to expect from it, but soon I got into the story and liked the blend between comedy and crime drama. There were plenty of amusing moments but also enough tension to hold my interest. I thought the killer reveal worked well. That character had seemed suspicious to me early on, but then I changed my mind, so it was fun to see the way the story gradually wove us back to that person. All up this was a solid drama, perhaps not one I'd want to watch again and again but certainly it was entertaining for a single reviewing and well worth the watching time. It gets 4.5 stars from me.
