Type is a freshman who seems like a warm person, but he is homophobic because of something that happened in his childhood. His life turns upside down, however, when he gets a gay roommate, Tharn. (Synopsis)

TharnType was a great BL drama. It's the first longer-length BL drama I've seen and also the first thing I've watched in Thai. The two leads both gave excellent performances and their romance and relationship came across as believable throughout. The story covers some dark themes at times, including homophobia and sexual predators. The two gripes I had were that they never fully drew a clear line between homosexuality and pedophilia and that the 'bad guy' was given a far too easy redemption at the end. However, those two points aside, this drama kept me entertained from start to finish with good pacing, an interesting plot and great chemistry between the main characters. There is a second series, so I will probably try to give that a watch in the future. For now, this series gets 4.5 stars from me.
