I came to this series with no knowledge of the original material the story is based on, so I had no expectations. At just five episodes it was a quick watch and I found it entertaining. The plot was fun, the effects generally pretty good, and the characters were all distinctive and memorable. I might perhaps have liked to have seen it spread over a few extra episodes in order to develop both the plot and characters to a greater extent, but as it was it was still enjoyable. I would watch on if they produce a second series. I am giving it four stars.
